DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP (DP)
It is composed by members already experienced in Equal project (first round, June 2001- December 2004). The name of the previous Equal (1st round): Ruràlia- introduction of new technologies in rural areas-, thematic field 3.

Thematic field: 4, Equal Opportunities- Reducing gender gaps and desegregation
Running Time: January 2005- December 2007
Members: it is integrated by different public and private associations, all of them representatives of the territory.
OBJECTIVES
Main objective: Apply an innovative program of global action on the discriminatory elements that influence equal opportunities in the rural area of actuation of the DP. Reduce the inequalities between men and women and avoid the desegregation in labor market, being complementary with other general politics applied in the territory.
ACTIVITIES
The project is divided in 8 action blocks that integrate 2 thematic fields.
Thematic field A. Development of positive action plans in enterprises
A.1. Working on the development of the professional career of women, especially improving their access to formation
A.2. Promoting the access and participation of women in the decision processes and collective negotiation
A.3. Contributing to reaching a equal presence of women-men in all productive sectors and all hierarchical levels. Promoting the entrepreneurship
A.4. Working on the market (women/men) for promoting and developing improvement plans
Thematic field B. Plans for promoting the participation of women in the working market
B.1. Preventing segregation in educational system by specific actions
B.2. Stimulating the diversification, so that people can choose their formation and professional options
B.3. Introduce Equal Opportunities in the professional practice (companies, social agents, tutors…), through specific formation actions
B.4. Promote a positive attitude towards society and families in the promotion of women in labor market
DP members consider the project a step for the development and improvement of the rural Catalan reality. The integration of public and private organizations in the DP, all of them with a global vision of the territory, is an alternative mechanism with capacity for getting into the working market and improving the actual discrimination situation.
Dona/Home Rurals is an innovative program in the rural area of Lleida- Catalonia (Spain) in reducing gender gaps.
It’s foreseen a total of 2.000 beneficiaries and the web diffusion of materials. 85% of the total is foreseen to be women and 15% men, including rural immigrant women.
