The association is controlled by its statutes and its internal regulations. The management structure of the General Assembly of the partners and the Administrative Council. Currently the council is formed of seven members, amongst these one is named as president, one as Vice President and a secretary and treasurer.
The partners can be:- effective, attached or honorary. The effective partners participate in the joint projects and support the association in an executive way (only these persons can form part of the Administration Council). The partners also give financial support..
The promotion of activities is carried out through the council and the Technical Office which is defined through the internal regulation. The management is achieved through objectives, dividing each objective in the transnational projects which are developed by partners or some of the partners. An objective is to be selected from the activities of the association. The objectives of a project are dealt with financially by the partners in a project whilst the routine work of the Association is supported by all of the members of NYMPHEA.
The Administrative Council takes responsibility for maintaining the ongoing activity of the association. The salaries are not paid but there should also be no additional costs experienced. All of the costs of the Association are monitored and evaluated so that these can be divided between the members as an annual subscription.
The partners of each project establish the methods of coordination of those projects. However, experience demonstrates the need for promoter or external coordinator for the transnational projects. The decision is made by the partners, whereby, this could be financed from the projects transnational budget. In the event of a transnational partnership with members outside of the NYMPHEA network a special agreement of support should be written up.
The contracting of the promoters can be put into effect by NYMPHEA through special agreement with the partners of each project which will fund NYMPHEA for this activity. The contract would be only for a specific project which would be arranged for this project and funded from it.
The Technical office of NYMPHEA is made up of promoters and coordinators of the projects (external and internal) and the President of the association. The Technical Office ensures that the information reaches all of the partners independently of their participation in projects which are approved and supported through the Internal Regulations of NYMPHEA.
The members of NYMPHEA preferably obtain two types of advantages – the participation in the experiences of the association and the provision of information, the dissemination and preferential transfer of the results of projects independent of their participation in these. In this way the participation in the projects is achieved in a voluntary manner but the information and the dissemination of results forms a part of the rights and responsibilities of the members |
